Today's Confession:

I will use my faith in the positive to do the work of the Lord.
Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it’s impossible to please God.

I woke up and looked at the clock and freaked out...it said 9:15 AM.  I thought how did I sleep so long.  I ran downstairs to start my coffee and saw the clock there said 7:15 AM!  HUH?  I went back upstairs to look at the clock and realized that the switch was turned to the setting for the alarm.  Ok, now that makes sense.  Have you ever done that?  Well, we are constantly responding to the clock aren't we?

Truth is that we all need to pay attention to what time it is so often in our daily lives so that we can get where we are going on time.  But we also need to pay attention to what time it on God's clock.  It is getting close to His glorious return! Jesus is coming back for you and me!  How exciting right?  Well, I am reminded of the song that I have grown up on since the early 1970's. I remember when my parents brought home this cassette by Andrea Crouch and we listened to it over and over again. Thankfully his music is still around and you can hear him right now. Oh I love technology. :)

The fact is that when we place God's clock in front of us that says "ETERNITY IS REAL" we will do things differently.  Things that seem to matter right here and now may not mean a thing in eternity.  So what about you?  Are you more focussed on the here and now versus what will matter in eternity?  We all have to make ourselves accountable.  Now remember that the Lord is not looking for ability....HE HAS ALL THE ABILITY...He is looking for availability.  The devil wants you to think about what you are not and how you could not do what God needs you to do.  But God sent me here today to tell you HE is saying...."LET ME USE YOU. LET ME WORK THROUGH YOU! "  Oh AMEN!

Remember the Eve and Adam had authority over everything in the garden.  They could have told the serpent to get out and he would have had to leave.  That was all there was too it.  I wonder if they felt sympathy and that is why they let him stay?  Did he play on their emotions and so he was allowed to stay?  I think so.  I think he gave them a real sob story about how hard it was to crawl along on his belly.  Well, I point this out because I think that the devil is giving some of you a sob story and you are listening to him and that is why he is hanging around.  I think it goes back to looking at yourself and your ability rather than God's.  But we are hear right now and we are getting wiser as every minute goes by and I believe that some for some of you....the light is going on and you are realizing why certain situations are still going on but as a result of reading this today....You are taking and using the authority that was given to you by God!Amen.

I pray that the Lord enlightens the eyes of our understanding today as to where we are letting Satan in.
